What we provide –
A Zoom / FaceTime /phone call consultation to hone in on what you’re after, and what the project requires
Once we’ve got your brief, you receive a personalised design package including —
- – Moodboard and inspiration images
- – Floor plan
- – A key elevation drawing
- – Images of each item we select for you
- – Customised shopping list
- – Styling tips (e.g. suggestions on art placement, how to style your bed etc.)
How it Works
Initial Phone Call
Once you’ve made contact with our team, we’ll get on the phone for a 15-20min phone call to hone in on what you’re after, and if this service is suited to you.
Based on the rooms you need help, we’ll calculate a fee and send through a quote. Payment is made and the project begins from here.
The key to a successful virtual design project is the information we receive from you. In this step, we email you a detailed questionnaire and instructions on how to measure and photograph your rooms. You can also send us any inspiration images in this step.
With the information you send us in hand, we get to work on your design package! You’ll have it within 4-6 weeks.
Questions & Revisions
You can contact us if you’ve got any questions on the design, or want to change out any items (one round of revisions is included). We want to make sure you’re satisfied and clear on everything we provide.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take for me to receive the completed design?
It typically takes 4 weeks to receive your completed design package from when you provide the project information in the questionnaire.
Is there a way to estimate the furniture costs before we get going?
We’ll discuss budget during our initial conversation, then again in the design questionnaire. Prior to our initial call, we recommend having a good idea of what you want to spend, and also to make sure that any other decision makers are on board with that figure. We can also provide guidance on what we think your project will cost, depending on the rooms you’d like us to design.
The good thing about Virtual Design is that you can purchase in stages, at your own pace.
Do I have to provide inspiration images or can you guide me?
Seeing your inspiration images are a huge part of making sure we are on the same page, so that we can provide a design that you’re 100% happy with and in line with your personal style. We aren’t able to begin your design until all of the design components have been compiled and submitted. Instagram and Pinterest are great resources for looking for inspiration. If you’re worried about finding images that reflect your style, let us know in the questionnaire component.

How can I be sure that the furnishings you select will fit my room?
Accurately measuring your room is crucial to our design process. The information you provide us helps us create your specific design with pieces that will not just fit, but will be in proportion with the room and the other items in it. We recommend measuring everything twice to double check your numbers, taking extra care to measure door openings. We are not responsible for any incorrect measurements.
What if items are out of stock or discontinued by the time I purchase them?
As we work through your design, we’ll always aim to select items that are currently in stock and ready for you to purchase. Occasionally, items run out of stock or are discontinued by the time you go to purchase, which may be months after we’ve provided your design. In these cases, we recommend contacting the supplier directly, as they’re the best people to contact for information on re-stocking.
I don’t have much spare time. Once the design is done, can you order the approved items for me?
The Full Room Makeover package includes everything you need to decorate a room yourself, including a shopping list and floor plan.
If you are time-poor or don’t want to execute the project yourself, the options are:
- Once the items are approved, we purchase and arrange delivery on your behalf.
Fee: 20% procurement fee of the final shopping list plus storage and handling fees if required
2. You move to Full Service Design, where we handle everything on your behalf. In this option, you barely need to lift a finger.
